Fuel Efficiency: Suzuki's reputation for fuel-efficient four-strokes continues with the DF8A and DF9.9A. These outboards are designed for greater fuel efficiency, allowing you to cover more distance with less fuel consumption.

Improved Handle Operation: The tiller handle has been redesigned to reduce vibrations during operation, providing a smoother and less fatiguing user experience, especially in the mid-range.

Offset Crankshaft: A slightly off-center crankshaft reduces pressure against the cylinder wall, resulting in smoother piston movement and improved operating efficiency.

Easy After-Storage Start: Gravity fuel supply from the integral overhead fuel tank and one-way valve allows the engine to start without opening the cover, even after long-term storage.

Quiet Operation: A silencer, optimized air intake design, and enhanced rocker arm and crankshaft bearing reduce noise levels for quieter operation.

Reliable Lubricating System: The forced lubrication system includes an oil filter, increasing system reliability, and a new oil window for visual lubrication status confirmation.

Three-Way Storage: The outboard can be stored on its port, starboard, or front side without concern about the storage orientation.

Improved Portability: Integrated carrying handles on the lower cover have been redesigned for better grip, and an additional front grip allows for easy two-handed carrying.

New Tilt System: The tilt system offers multiple up-and-down paths, with three locking positions when raised and smooth lowering without locking.
